2nd Joint Family Law Conference and Networking Exchange

October 15 – 19, 2023

10.5 CLE Hours
(including 2 Trial Practice Hours)

… so much we can learn from others…

Family law has become globalized, extending beyond national borders. Families are a mix of cultures, and are more transient than ever.

It follows that international custody disputes are more and more prevalent in today’s society.

The purpose of this program is to expand our knowledge by exploring the similarities and differences in how child custody disputes are resolved in Georgia and in Barcelona, as well as strategic considerations in international custody cases.

The program is designed to facilitate active engagement with our Barcelona hosts to share experiences, ideas and philosophies, and to build valuable networking relationships.

Viewing family law through a comparative lens by way of such meaningful exchanges enables us to gain a better perspective of our own laws, and to broaden our horizons with insight and ideas from other cultures.

It’s not just continuing legal education…

It’s a continuing legal experience!

Build connections with attorneys and professionals abroad.
Learn from cultural exchanges of information and ideas.
Tour one of the oldest and largest law libraries in the world.
Visit a courthouse and meet the judges.
Explore the excitement of Barcelona.
Travel to the Penedès wine country.
… and create memories of a lifetime!

This was my favorite CLE! Aside from the opportunity to visit Barcelona and explore the beautiful city, we were able to meet local attorneys and learn from their experiences. The CLE was engaging and interesting.
